Do you remember when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted the 2013 Golden Globes? They were so awesome that they practically made the event. So you might like to judge an event by its hosts/moderators. Obviously, we don’t recommend that strategy, but it is not an overstatement to say the hosts and/or moderators tend to represent the general atmosphere of the event.

Ranging from education to health, various fields are excited to see what can come out of this year’s Samsung Developers Conference. Consequently, many influential figures from various fields were presented as a moderator for the Samsung Developers Conference 2013.

Among them we were able to meet (in alphabetical order):

CJ Cornell, Academic and Serial Entrepreneur, Propel Ventures, LLC,

Corey Wilson, Business Development Director NFC at SMARTRAC Technology Group;

Eric Consolazio, Vice President of Cigna’s IT Customer Solutions.

Prasad Ram, CEO at Gooru learning;

Tom Conrad, Chief Technology Officer and EVP of Product at Pandora.

Let’s see what they had to say about the Samsung Developers Conference 2013!

CJ Cornell, Academic and Serial Entrepreneur, Propel Ventures, LLC

“Samsung just has been wonderful when it comes to supporting developer’s community; in fact, there is really no one else in the android development mobile. I’ve worked on 4 different projects in mobile, and there is no really alternative, but Samsung is the only one that we can actually talk to people about what they are doing today and in the future. And they have been very supportive. “

Corey Wilson, Business Development Director NFC at SMARTRAC Technology Group

“Thoroughly Impressed with the conference. I’ve gone to many different events that are more user focused and the topics are traditionally different. Now you are seeing the interactivity between the developers, really posing strong question on how to evolve the NFC technology and what is the next big thing, so this is to me is very very exciting.”

Eric Consolazio, Vice President of Cigna’s IT Customer Solutions

“Well, first, I like to say the panel had a lot of energy, they were experts in their fields, and they really are thought leaders in the industry. If you want to see where the industry is going to go from few years from now talk to those people”

Prasad Ram, CEO at Gooru learning

“SDC2013, like I mentioned, as the first conference, it is really nice to see the number of people who have turned out for this. The quality of presentations and the kind of announcement that happened this morning (at the Keynote) are very exciting to see. …with the full range of solutions that Samsung provides and to be able to tie them all together into an incredible human experience (is exciting to see).”

Tom Conrad, Chief Technology Officer and EVP of Product at Pandora.

“This has been an incredibly exciting event. We have been close partners with Samsung for many  many years. But this is the first chance we’ve got to come together with thousands of other Samsung developers and share ideas, enthusiasms for the platform you (Samsung) are building.”
