The GALAXY 11: Phase One

The GALAXY 11: Phase One

Circa 2012, we witnessed the epic battle of ‘the Avengers’ against Loki and his army over the fate of this planet in the movie ‘The Avengers’. However, if you think that could only happen in the movies, you might have been too naïve.

We are at the end of the year 2013 and the fate of the earth is in question, once again. This time, instead of destroying a whole city, the aliens want to settle it over a football match. The ill-minded aliens might think that the earth is a joke, but they have no idea what is coming for them. The football legend Franz Beckenbauer and the GALAXY 11 are already on board for the biggest football match ever.

Here is the story so far.

The First Contact

On the 21st of October, mysterious circles appeared in Guanabara Bay, Rio de Janeiro, Hackney Marshes, London, and Times Square, New York. The mysterious circles created a bizarre scene and no one could explain what they were. Consequently, there were only speculations regarding the mysterious circle. However, we soon realized that this was far more serious than the speculations.

The Acknowledgement of the GALAXY 11

In fact, ‘Mysterious Circles’ were the work of aliens! It was their way of challenging us to a football match over the fate of our planet! Many football players and fans around the world, including, the legendary Franz Beckenbauer, didn’t find it so cute.

On the1st of November, Beckenbauer finally acknowledged his plan to dismantle the aliens. His weapon of choice? The GALAXY 11, a team of the 11 finest football players in the world. For strategic reasons, he was very cautious to reveal any names.

The Announcement of the Captain

The captain of the world’s best football team has been announced. Lionel Messi! Having Messi as the captain of our team is a relief; we can always rely on him to deliver great performances. However, we do not have any information on the aliens; we don’t know their physical attributes, teamwork or strategies.

In the end, this is going to be the most important football game in the history of aliens vs. earth. We can use any help we can get, even if that is a vuvuzela!
