Samsung Wallet allows users to store and organize coupons, tickets and memberships under different categories while also enabling them to manually create digital versions of existing membership cards. The Samsung Wallet experience can be further personalized through location-based notifications, alerting users to special offers in their area. Samsung Offers lets users clip digital coupons to loyalty cards of participating grocery retailers. Consumers with the Galaxy Note® 3 can scan the loyalty cards using barcode emulation technology.

Samsung Wallet is available for download on the Galaxy S® III, Galaxy S® 4, Galaxy Note®, Galaxy Note® II and Galaxy Note 3 from Samsung Apps (www.samsungapps.com) or Google Play. The app is now available in the U.S. as well as other countries around the world—including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Russia, Brazil, Australia, and South Korea—with further expansion expected in the upcoming months.

American Express is providing its Card members real-time access to their account balances and latest transactions through Samsung Wallet. “With the American Express Ticket for Samsung Wallet, we’ve created a powerful new way to securely connect our Card members to the information that matters most to them, in a way that only we can,” said Leslie Berland, Senior Vice President, Digital Partnerships and Development at American Express.

Users are also able to load boarding passes from United Airlines—the exclusive U.S. airline launch partner. “We’re excited to be the exclusive U.S. airline launch partner with Samsung, offering a more convenient travel experience for our customers,” said Mark Nasr, United Airlines Managing Director eCommerce. “United is building the industry’s most useful mobile travel tools, and Samsung Wallet perfectly complements the United App for Android.”
