With the much-anticipated unveiling of the newest Galaxy smartphones, Samsung made clear its renewed focus on design. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge prove that having the best in mobile technology doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style. These are Samsung’s first smartphones made entirely of glass and metal. Samsung applied its unique 3D Thermoforming technology to produce the dual curved edges of the S6 edge’s display. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge are redefining the possibilities of mobile design, offering a beautiful device with powerful features.

The super sleek body gives it a more premium look than its predecessors. This new model offers an updated look we’ve been waiting for. The nano-thin multi coating process gives the new back casing a dynamic color. Using complex and precise procedures like diamond cutting and anodizing, Samsung created depth and texture in the metal frame. Both variations are similarly stylish; the biggest difference is the dual curved sides of the Galaxy S6 edge.

Holding both phones is extremely comfortable. The bodies of both models fit nicely in the hand, are incredibly lightweight, and feel nice to the touch. The smooth curved glass and precision cut metal give these phones a refined look and feel. The metal trim gives an enhanced, natural grip. The dual curved edges of the Galaxy S6 edge give the viewer a more immersive experience, similar to watching movies on a wide-screen.

With a dynamic reflective surface, the back reflects light, creating depth and unique color effects. Both phones are offered in a variety of beautiful, vibrant colors to fit every style and make a bold statement.

Not only does the new all glass and metal body make the S6 and S6 edge look sleek and stylish, they are built to last. Samsung incorporated Gorilla Glass 4, specially engineering to be thin, light, and damage-resistant and a high-strength aluminum, typically used for aircrafts, automobiles, and yachts. This aluminum is 1.5 times stronger and 1.2 times more scratch-resistant than aluminum found in other existing smartphones.
