Users can choose a free book from a selection of four different titles every month. Each book is chosen specifically for Galaxy smartphone and tablet users from a wide selection of prominent titles.
Kindle for Samsung offers millions of best-selling books, newspapers and magazines on their mobile devices including over 500,000 titles which are exclusive to the Kindle Store. Other features include Whispersync, which saves and synchronizes the last page read across devices, so that a reader can always pick up wherever they left off. Time to Read shows how much time it will take to finish a chapter or a book based on personalized reading speed. Worry-Free Archive automatically backs up the user’s Kindle books to the cloud, so that they never need to worry about losing their books.
When you use your tablet with family member or child, you would worry that child accesses any application or harmful content. For this reason, Samsung provides Kids Mode! Kids Mode is a safe service that makes learning fun for young children. Kids Mode is purely designed for not only building a safe, fun and educational experience for children but also giving parents the information and control they wanted.
Children can use features to draw, watch the videos and record their voices with funny cartoon effects-even occasionally for taking pictures. In addition, the most welcomed feature comes with Tab S Kids Mode is the Kids Store. The Kids Store enables users not only to shop free or paid apps which are select content for the children but also to recommend meaningful content by age and subject to take appropriate decisions at the right time.
Also, Kids Mode gives most parental controls you’d expect. Children can only choose applications from Kids Store and Kids Mode offers Parent Control feature that allow the parents to purchase all the applications, which can only be accessed by entering the correct password in parental control menu.
Kids Store allows users to easily choose the applications comprised of two tabs with a choice of content which are grouped by age and subject. According to age, the applications are classified in the following: 0-4 years old for preschool children, 5-6 years old for kindergarteners and 7 years old or more in primary school children. In addition, the content according to the subject that seems to be learning, play and story are categorized.
Kids Store has a brand zone for US, which will provide premium content for kids to users with famous content providers such as PBS Kids, Budge Studio, Cupcake Digital and Intellijoy and is offering global free gifts worth over $50 to users, for free applications such as Pettson’s Invention 1 and 2, Sprinkle Island and Pucca Funny World Tour exclusively. Also Kids Store provides the popular applications which whole world children enjoy together as LEGO, Pocoyo and Tipitap, and the English education content for the children as Agnitus, Little Bridge English, and Creative Corner for the creativity.
Kids Store provides around 900 content and to be available in 150 countries around the world. ‘Age & Category’ and ‘Brand Zone’ features are available in US.
