Samsung Electronics has been making mobile phones since the 80’s. As you know, that is a good chunk of history for the mobile phone industry. As we are closing out 2013, here at Samsung Tomorrow, we wanted to look back on this history with you.

 

However, we understand the ‘history’ could be overwhelming for some people. Therefore, we have figured out a way to share the history of Samsung mobile phones more vividly. Infographics!

 

As the beginning of this grand history project and as a celebration of the Galaxy Note 3’s recent achievement of selling more than 10 million units, we would like to present our beloved ‘10 million seller club’.

 

Samsung Tomorrow Hall of Fame  History of Samsung Mobile Phones: 10 Million Seller Club  SDH-T100: Known for its pebble-like design, the SGH-T100 was Samsung’s first phone to have sold 10 million units  SDH-E700: SGH-E700’s premium design and ultimate functionality was recognized as ‘a symbol of authority, wealth and tradition’ by European media  SGH-D500: This luxurious black ‘slide’ design phone set a new  worldwide trend for mobile phone design  SGH-D900: Reduction in components, minimized power usage, and implementation of OPUS technology helped the SGH-D900 a.k.a. Ultra Edition thrive as both a technological and design feat  SGH-E250: The combination of great functionality, design and price helped Samsung sell over 10 million units of this model in the Middle East and Africa  SDH-J700: Another great phone with superior function, design and price  GT-S5230 star: This slim full-touch phone featuring Haptic UI sold over 10 million units in 6 months world wide  Galaxy S: As one of the earlier Android phones,the Galaxy S was popular worldwide  Galaxy S2: With a dual-core processor, the GalaxySⅡ opened a new world for smartphones  Galaxy Note: Phone? Tablet? Note! With a big 5-inch screen and an S Pen, the Galaxy Note created a whole new category of smart devices  Galaxy S3: ‘Designed for Humans, Inspired by Nature’. This quad-core wonder added a touch of nature to tech genius.  Galaxy Note2: Screen size and ratio, processor, S Pen, gestures… Samsung enhanced user experience in just about every aspect with the Galaxy NoteⅡ  Galaxy S4: With innovative features such as Sound and Shot, Air Gesture, Air View and S Translator, over 10 million Galaxy S4s were sold in the first two months  Galaxy Note 3: Loaded with even more S Pen functions including Air Command, Drag & Drop Multi Window and so much more, the Galaxy Note3 is another smash hit.  What will Samsung’s next 10 million seller be?
