For Electronic Dance Music Fans who Just Touched Down in London Town

London is known for many things, but there is something about London that keeps people going. Music! The quality of music you can get from London has been world-renowned for decades, especially electronic dance music. In the heart of East London, we have been hearing about a small studio called Samsung Galaxy Shoreditch Studio that has been host to the most influential DJs from established record labels such as Greco-Roman, Hospital Records and Defected Records.

Word is that DJs like Noir, TCTS (or Sam O’neill), High Contrast and Etherwood have been seen in this new hotspot, Samsung Galaxy Shoreditch Studio. We had to see if it was true, so we decided to check out all the excitement in person. *The address of this new hotspot is at the bottom of the article!

Noir [Defected Records]

Noir has been making us dance for decades. He is one of the hardest working DJs and he has worked with the best DJs, such as Carl Cox, Mark Knight, Roger Sances and Pete Tong. We don’t need to tell you about his dj’ing skills do we?

You can’t have a studio without a party – check out the Defected Record party at the Shoreditch Studio.

TCTS [Greco-Roman]

TCTS, aka Sam O’Neill, is one of the most exciting producer/DJs to emerge from Manchester of late, and another amazing artist to release his sounds on the Greco-Roman label. Not so long ago, Beatport named him a ‘Bass Music Secret Weapon’.

Not to be outdone by Defected Records, check out the party Greco-Roman hosted at the Shoreditch Studio!

High Contrast and Etherwood [Hospital Records]

High Contrast and Etherwood are two artists signed to Hospital Records. High Contrast, aka Lincoln Barret, is a young drum & bass soldier who cannot be stopped! Estherwood just released his first LP about a month ago. They both entered the drum & bass arena at very different times when analogue and digital technologies differed, so their sounds appeal to lots of different people.

And of course, Hospital Records and London Elektricity also held a party. Check it out.
