That’s why today we decided to set you up with some videos that will make the GALAXY S4’s hottest features easy to see.  First up is an overview video, which briefly explains how you can use the GALAXY S4. Check it out, so you can get a better idea of the main features of the GALAXY S4, including S Translator, Air View/ Air Gesture, Dual Camera, and Sound &Shot.

We know, you’re insatiable and still want more, so let us oblige with extra insight!

S Translator

If you’ve travelled to a country where you don’t speak the language, you’ve probably had your fair share of difficulties translating or being understood when you try to communicate.  This can be even more difficult if the country you’re in uses a different alphabet than you’re used to!  GALAXY S4 features an ‘S Translator’ which has the goal of breaking down language barriers. How? It provides instant translation, using text or voice translation in applications including email, text messages, and ChatOn. Of course, this instant translation is possible both from speech to text and text to speech, and ensures that you can rely on the correct information whilst abroad.

Finding S Translator is simple – just click on “applications” and then you’ll see the “S Translator” icon.  Then you can choose the language you want. Language of Korean, Chinese, Japanese and English can be translated to each other; German, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish can be translated to English. Speak the phrase that you want to translate and the GALAXY S4 will automatically translate what you said into the foreign language you’ve specified.  The S translator can even read aloud the translated phrase!

Air View / Air Gesture

You might be familiar with ‘Air View’ if you have used previous versions of the GALAXY smartphone with the S Pen before. Now, you can use the Air View feature without the S Pen. Air View allows users to hover with their fingers to preview the content of an email, S Planner, image gallery or video without having to open it. You can even see a magnified view on the internet browser, or a phone number saved in the speed dial on the keypad.

With ‘Air Gesture,’ you can use Air View more easily. You can change the music track, scroll up and down a web page, or accept a call with a wave of your hand.

So how did the team at Samsung improve the GALAXY S4?  Well, the screen is now “glove friendly” meaning it will respond to your hands whether you’re wearing gloves or not – super-useful for the cold winter days when you don’t want frozen fingers but DO still want to stay connected!   The Air View also works with glove too!
Dual Camera

If you checked the GALAXY S4’s specifications, you already know that GALAXY S4 has a 2 mega pixel camera in front and a 13 mega pixel camera in the back. ‘Dual Camera’ allows simultaneous use of both front and rear cameras.

What you can do with Dual Camera? You can choose from a variety of frame effects which blend the two pictures naturally and also adjust the size of the small picture relative to the big one when capturing moments. Follow the direction on the video to see how you can use it with the GALAXY S4.

Also, you can select 8 different ways to combine the two photos taken by the front camera and the rear camera. At the same time, the ‘Dual Video Call’ function enables you to make and receive a video call with friends and family while showing what you are looking at during the call.

Sound & Shot

‘Sound & Shot’ uniquely stores sound and voice together as the picture is taken so those special moments are captured in the truest form imaginable, exactly as they happened. Not only can you take still pictures, but also you can have audio with it as well! It is like a multi-media diary. You have photos, texts, and sounds. These meaningful moments can also now automatically be stored in a photo album in the GALAXY S4!
